There are two different types of SEO:
On-page and Off-Page
The on-page is making sure your keyword word/phrase is in the title, meta tags (keywords and description), the alt text for any images, and much more.
If you are using wordpress blog, you can find great search engine optimization plug-in once you get the blog up and running by logging into your admin account and on the right side menu there is a Plug-In Category and just click on the link “Add New”. That will let you search for the SEO plug in and it is a quick install.
The off-page is getting quality inbound backlinks to your site by using digg, article directories, squidoo and any of the hundreds of other social media sites.
The search engines love to see on and off page SEO.
You can do a search by typing in free SEO tips on-page (or off-page) or free SEO ebooks.
There are many great free tutorial on how to make sure your blog/website is search engine optimized, so don’t worry you won’t need to hire an expert.
